Think Closet
Wendy Chen owns a respectable five locations around New York, humbly running the operation with just her parents. There are lovely, silk scarves that are elegantly pattered, as well as a variety of belts. The store also offers shoes, a rare inclusion, letting you literally buy an entire outfit for a price that isn’t too outrageous. Like pinky Otto, the clothing here is color coordinated, and the scarves and accessories are displayed in a way that doesn’t eat you alive, allowing slow digestion of all the merchandise. Style-wise, ultra feminine and frilly products are present, as well as chic, straight-legged pants, or subtle, silky blouses in neutrals, for a timeless and elegant look. The unique part of this store is that all the designers are Japanese and Korean, with many based out of LA. Think Closet 318 E 9th Street [Photo via]
