Eggnog French Toast

eggnogg-french-toastIngredients: 4 eggs 2 cups of your favorite eggnog 1 tablespoon cinnamon ¼ teaspoon nutmeg ½ teaspoon vanilla ¼ cup granulated sugar 10-12 slices of thick bread Butter, maple syrup and powdered sugar for serving Instructions: In a medium bowl combine eggs, eggnog, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla. Whisk together. Soak each piece of bread for about 90 seconds on each side. Just before adding to a hot griddle, sprinkle each side with granulated sugar. Cook until golden brown, then flip, and cook until opposite side is also golden brown. About 2-3 minutes. Top with a pat of butter, dust with powdered sugar, and drizzle with maple syrup.
