Whoopi Goldberg will host the Thursday night fried chicken lovefest (formerly known as FRIED) with DJ Questlove and Art Smith, who just casually happens to be Oprah's former personal chef and head chef at Lady Gaga's parents' restaurant Joanne Trattoria. In addition to fried chicken creations that go way beyond the bucket (matzo meal crusted drumsticks, anyone? coconut fried chicken, perhaps?), the event's menu offers sweet potato and s'mores pies, a sinfully sweet sounding Liquid Klondike, and even gluten-free cookies.
