Michael White is one of the champions of pasta in NYC.
-He traveled to the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy--the inspiration behind his SoHo restaurant Osteria Moriini--with
Anthony Bourdain on the final season of
No Reservations.
-He's expanded to two restaurants in New Jersey, and co-owns another in Hong Kong, where he imports authentic Italian ingredients that can't be delivered to America.
-He has earned multiple Michelin stars. James Beard named him the Best Chef in NYC for the last three years. Marea won the James Beard Award for Best New Restaurant in 2010.
-Crain's New York Business named White as one of the 40 most influential New Yorkers under 40.
