Cronut

CronutWhat: The bastard-child of a croissant and a donut, the Cronut is the hottest hybrid to hit New York since the Labradoodle. People line up around the block at six in the morning in hopes of tasting it. Its name legally requires capitalization. Consensus: Our opinion on the Cronut? Well, to be honest, we didn’t try it. Even if the Cronut was frosted with 24K gold, we probably still wouldn’t get out of bed at 5am for it. Nonetheless, we can only assume that the Cronuts are sprinkled with crack to create a line that long at 6am. Regardless of our opposition to morning lines, we don’t discourage anyone from making the trek and trying it out.
