Head to Brooklyn for one of our favorite Japanese restaurants which serves fresh dumplings. The wrappers have a silk-like quality which chefs worldwide strive for. The shrimp shumei is also wonderful and atones for all the disappointing shumei out there. Don't stop at the dumplings - Gen has excellent sushi and a range of small plates that inventively play with some of our favorite traditional ingredients.
