Global Impact Award Gala Dinner 25th Anniversary

Why: The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF) will host its 25th Anniversary Global Impact Award Gala Dinner. The event will honor former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton for her extraordinary legacy of leadership and courage in the fight against HIV/AIDS. Diane Sawyer will lead the award ceremony where Sec. Clinton will be presented with the Global Impact Award. The gala will be emceed by internationally renowned photographer and host of “The Face” on Oxygen, Nigel Barker. Actresses Julianna Margulies Gloria Reuben and Mary Steenburgen will deliver dramatic readings from Elizabeth Glaser’s book, In the Absence of Angels: A Hollywood Family's Courageous Story. The event will feature a private performance by multi-platinum-selling, two-time Emmy and five-time Grammy award-nominated recording artist Michael Feinstein and his 17-piece big band. There will also be a special performance by the cast members and band from the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical Fela!
