Why: Wild Bird Fund (WBF) is hosting a fundraising event at the historic “Birdie” Vanderbilt Mansion. The event honors Jane Velez-Mitchell, CNN/Headline News host and eminent animal activist. The celebration includes musical performance by the "Chapin Sisters," the aerial arts and acrobatics of the Dzul Dance company, "wild animal guests," wine and hors d’oeuvres, silent and live auctions.
