Why: The Champions of Rockaway dinner and benefit concert by Jamie Foxx, hosted by actress Scarlett Johansson and Hunter Johansson pays tribute to those who graciously stepped up after Sandy to help provide relief and rebuilding options to the Rockaways, Queens and Breezy Point in the wake of Superstorm Sandy. Proceeds from the event will support Giants of Generosity and Friends of Rockaway who have been tirelessly working to rebuild homes for more than 200 families who are still awaiting help and living in unsafe conditions.
