PUNCH Exhibit at Overthrow NYC When: Thu, August 13,8:30 pm - 10:00 pm Where: 9 Bleecker Why: PUNCH is a visceral exploration of the historic spirit and culture of the East Village on view at an an underground model boxing club called Overthrow NYC. Its opening reception promises a night of sophisticated debauchery complete with complimentary specialty cocktails by Bombay Sapphire, free food from Williamsburg Pizza, a live DJ, and works on display by some of New York's most exciting contemporary artists. The collection includes paintings, drawings, photographs, mixed media collages, sculptures, florals, and video from a mix of well-known veterans and emerging talents such as Adam Dare, Gio Scotti, and Hannah Stahl.
