What's the menu for your perfect food day look like?

Hmm…it’d start with a cup of hot water and lemon and then a quick shot of Nourish's house made almond milk mixed with a spoonful of diatomaceous earth (my newfound obsession. it’s sounds totally wacky, but it’s fossilized algae that boasts major detoxifying properties, it’s a noticeable boost to start my day). Then I love a good cortado (espresso with a bit of steamed milk – we feature Vittoria coffee…so amazing). Breakfast is often a hard-boiled egg, sliced avocado and bit of fresh fruit. Simple but grounding and energizing. Lunch is ideally a big, crisp salad with any number of toss-ins (nuts, seeds, avocado, egg, dried fruit, cheese, some grains or roasted winter squash, etc). Greens and vegetables help me power through the day without feeling weighted down. An afternoon snack is sometimes a green juice or kombucha and a piece of fruit or an apple with coconut-peanut butter (sooo good, and healthy, bonus). Dinner is often out at a restaurant with friends or colleagues or it’s dinner at home… cooking a meal with whatever random ingredients are in my fridge and pantry is one of my go-to ways to de-stress and tap some creativity. That dinner is often accompanied with a glass or two of wine and followed by some calming herbal tea.
