Every person, while experiencing loss, feels as though they are the first to feel what they are feeling. How did you feel in this process?
Just as you say. Experiencing death, especially of someone you have known since you were born, feels novel and new and strangely poetic. And when your parents leave this earth it is as if the climate has changed but only in the tiny world where you live.
