How did you get involved with doing this at the Cosmopolitan?
The Art Production Fund reached out to me with this P3 studio program, and they wanted me to do something, and I pitched it, and they decided to offer me some dates. I was honored; it’s a huge program. There are some incredible artists that have been there before. And with the hotel, who was so generous to me, I didn't know how it would be working in a giant establishment like that, turning my process inside out from New York to Las Vegas and landing it raw on an empty space in the 3rd floor of the Cosmopolitan Hotel. I had no idea how it would turn out. I left everything up to letting the chips fall where they may. That whole vibe ended up being perfect. I had a great feeling from the space right away and was able to start working immediately and get things going. They even flew me out a week early to work with Band of Horses, which was great.
