What do you reference when designing a collection?
Donna: We always have a music reference. It effects the way you walk and it effects the way you dress. I don't think I walk anywhere without music on.
Alan: We love British rock 'n' roll from the '60s to the '80s. We mentioned the Manchester music scene in the '70s and '80s with The Happy Mondays, Buzz Cocks, and The Stone Roses. We mention them because they were all style icons and they were all doing something so original in their time.
