Interview: NYC Flower Girl Denise Porcaro Talks Entrepreneurship & Her Favorite Holiday Scents

Over the past few years, Denise Porcaro has become the darling of design throughout all of the city's creative circles, and while she doesn't technically work in fashion, it seems whatever she gets her hands on becomes an instant trend. This native New Yorker makes magic with stems as NYC's very own Flower Girl, a favorite of leaders in the industries from hospitality to publishing (and everything in between). With an oft-Instagrammed Lower East Side headquarters and a recently-opened 2nd location at the sprawling Gansevoort Market, Porcaro's whimsical arrangements have been getting more attention than ever these days; we can't scroll through social media without catching a glimpse of a gorgeous new @flowergirlnyc creation! With the holiday season now behind us and the anticipation of spring in the air, we caught up with the floral guru to talk scents for setting the mood, discovering inspiration, and how she stumbled into such a successful business venture.
