What's the most creative excuse you've ever used to throw a party?

.Recently, my sister and I threw a makeshift karaoke party because it's something we haven't done in a while with our friends. We found karaoke songs in YouTube and sang away. Pizza was ordered, beer passed around, and all of it was documented. It was a blast!
