For a while there were so many new electronic venues, but it seems like rock clubs like Berlin are more popular with the nightlife crowd now. Why do you think that is?
Yeah I mean it definitely has the feeling. [Berlin] was opened by Jesse Malin, who owns Cabin, BLK MKT, Bowery Electric; he was in a pretty amazing punk band. Rock 'n' roll feels more real, it's not cold and sterile feeling like electronic music. It's more inviting.
