How Modern Witches REALLY Celebrate Halloween

As for how I will be celebrating this Halloween: This Halloween Eve we will have a wonderful and potent New Moon for spell work! It’s a very powerful and auspicious moment to have a New Moon fall on the eve of Samhain, which is a well known pagan holiday that Halloween is derived from. Samhain is a time of marking the point between summer and winter, so I will be doing some deep reflecting on the lessons of the summer, and integrating what I’ve learned so I can weave the lessons into my personal development and spell work for this special New Moon and Samhain, and into winter and beyond. I will also be utilizing my astrology chart to see where the Moon will be affecting me the most, and do spell work in relation to my astrology.
