Carl Schurz Park is one of the city's hidden gems, a park full of beautiful trees with breathtaking views of the Roosevelt Island Lighthouse and Randall's Island along the East River. It's one of the more peaceful locations on our list, with a multi-use path for both cyclists and runners.
