Unfortunately there are some women out there who, no matter what, just can’t put aside the high expectations. These are the girls hoping for a proposal or for a carriage ride to pick them up at their doorstep. The problem with these expectations though, is that they lead to disappointment, and the disappointment can ruin the holiday. It makes the plans that your significant other made seem worthless, and will likely annoy him that you weren’t more grateful for the work he DID put into the holiday. So unless you’re looking to end the night with a fight rather than some hanky-panky, then you need to control your expectations!!
