Why is pop culture so boring these days?
You no longer need to wait for gossip sites or magazines to give you the story, it's right there at your fingertips. Plus, because of social media, celebrity has mutated entirely - there are people with millions of followers on Instagram I've never heard of before, and they have a dedicated following and their drama - whatever it might be - manages to captivate tons of people. It's strange.
