How A Grungy Gentleman Gets A Glow Up

I’m gonna dance around that answer a little bit. I always feel that when you’re confident and comfortable, you’re going to wear clothes better. I think that guys dress towards their moods a little bit, and I feel like that’s really good and you have to embrace that. So any one garment can change according to a guy’s mood. I can definitely name a few, though—something that’s very overlooked is something as simple as a couple great-fitting t-shirts. Just as far as the amount that you wear it and how much usage you get out of it, you know, and then of course—a black or navy blazer is essential. Also, having a good crewneck sweater and a jacket to go over it in the winter is essential these days. So, there’a bunch of different things, and I’m not even mentioning a bunch—bomber jackets, woven shirts. But I always preach that you should buy quality over quantity and really build your wardrobe. And that it’s not always the sexiest thing to buy a staple—a clean navy or black sweater—but you’ll probably wear it triple to the colorful item that you wear once every few months because people are going to notice that you’re wearing it. That’s how you really build a wardrobe—you mix and you match and you learn how to put your looks together and when you have clean items, they go with so many things. That was my dance around.
