Do you think men and women have different approaches or ideas about having a successful marriage?

100%. I think once men get married they tend to think about longevity while women tend to have much higher expectations for what makes a successful marriage. Too often we think that our spouse has to be our everything. They should be our best friend, our shrink, our travel buddy, our soul mate, oh and also give us the greatest sex of our lives. These expectations set us up to feel like our marriage isn't successful or satisfying. Some of the best advice I got from around the world was to temper your expectations and remember your spouse shouldn't be your everything.
