So back then, they said, there’s a really interesting perfumer, who is about to become a superstar in the world of fragrance – his name is Bertrand Duchaufour, and they said, he’s a very independent, extremely creative person, why don’t you work with him? So he came to see the store, the opulence, the voluptuousness, and us. And we said, we love dark fragrances, we love incense. That was enough for him to come up in his head, as an artist, with a certain scent, so he suggested it to us, and we loved it. Now, when we started our own brand last year, there was nothing other than an idea. [Photo via]
