What is your favorite piece right now in this coming collection?
It’s a jacket that’s called ‘Wax Your Back,’ which is kind of a partake on a hunting jacket. You can dress it up and look super savvy, or you can wear it very casually. I think that’s the one that is going to get the most rotation.
What do you hope this event accomplishes?
I hope that people will get to try Kings County Distillery’s amazing whiskey. I also think that people don’t appreciate salsa enough. To me, I mean, Brooklyn Salsa Company taught me how to do salsa from scratch, which was amazing. And, the Sussman Brothers - they are a big source of inspiration. There are mostly fashion people here, and fashion people need to eat more. And hopefully everyone gets a little chubbier. **It is important to note that Kings County Distillery, the Sussman Brothers, and Brooklyn Salsa Company were a huge inspiration for this collection.
