What's the most you've had to do to keep someone out?There have been times where I've had to get physical. We get the crazies that want to come in, we don't let them in. There were a few times when guys actually took swings. A couple of times people got arrested, but mostly they just leave. What's your tipping point for aggressive behavior?Tipping point must be when someone puts their hands on you. It's happened plenty of times—people have spit at me before at the door, people get mad. You're basically telling someone no that's never been told no before.Whats the craziest thing that's happened throughout your career?I'm doing a normal night at Beatrice Inn. Everyone else goes inside and I'm standing outside. SUV comes around the corner screeching, like an action movie; comes to a complete stop in front of Beatrice. A guy runs out of the SUV, starts running towards the door. I don't know what the fuck is happening, so BAM, I close-line him. He falls on his back. 2-3 mini-coopers coming around the back, screeching also. Paparazzi's jump out of the back, and they're all taking pictures. And when the guy pulls out a scream, I realize who it is: Owen Wilson. I let him in, paparazzi trying to jump over the rail. I actually grabbed a guy and had to push him off. He got really upset at me, threatened to sue. Had to be one of the craziest nights. And then they stood around all night. Owen got in but at that moment, I didn't know who it was because he was running like a mad man dashing to the door.
