Though Jessamyn Fiore never met the artist Gordon Matta-Clark, she, in her own words, "grew up very much in that world,"-- that world being the art scene of downtown Manhattan in the late 1960's and early 1970's. After writing her Masters thesis about the space 112 Greene Street, Fiore started to work on an exhibition and book inspired by the legendary New York artists' space. We sat down with Fiore to chat about her inspiration for the book, and her own history with 112 Greene.
