You were the muse for Zang Toi's spring 2013 collection - how did that come about? What was it like being an inspiration for the line? What's your favorite piece from the collection, if you have one?
I couldn’t believe it when he told me I was the muse! He says that I inspired him to add more colors to his collection and likes my adventurous spirit and style. I was so flattered. But really he inspired me! Our original Lip Spread colors came from his collection where they are more muted everyday wearable colors. As for a favorite piece, I love so many - it’s hard to pick! I’d have to say my favorite right now is the purple ball gown skirt, which I own. Zang is my favorite dinner partner![Zang Toi, Julie Macklowe via]
