You often wear younger designers, like Jason Wu and Zang Toi - is there something in particular you look for in newer designers? What is it about these lines that attract you?
I like to find designers who have great and interesting clothing but perhaps not everyone knows them. While Jason Wu wasn’t a household name when I started to wear him, he’s obviously well known now so I’m off to find another new designer! It always helps to know I won’t show up in the exact same clothing as someone else like I did in 2008 when I wore the same red ball gown to the Met Costume Institute Gala- embarrassing!Do you have a tenet, or perhaps a single concept that you can tell us that would explain your personal sense of style?Fearlessness and, as Dolly said, bigger is better!
