So what's the the difference between 'Up' and 'Down'?
MG: Up&Down is one venue. ‘Up’ and ‘Down’ are two different concepts and two different vibes. You can come downstair at 7 o'clock and enjoy cocktails, and if you come back at 3am, it turns into something completely different. Early in the night you have a pool table, 2 in the morning it gets pushed over and it's a dance party in front of the DJ booth. Upstairs is more of a traditional nightclub; we open a little bit later. It's basically a one stop shop for different experiences. And what we we're going for, overall, is for this to be a funhouse, for a million different things to be going on, and to really bring back what nightlife used to be.[Photo courtesy of Butter Group]
