Interview With NY1's Pat Kiernan. Is This The Next Regis Philbin?

Nov 16, 2011 8:42 AM

"You know it's bad when they wake up Pat Kiernan," is what writer Whitney Pastorek tweeted after the Zuccotti Park cleanup yesterday in reference to NY1’s Pat Kiernan, the sarcastic morning anchor that has won over our hearts, and channels. From his helpful "Pat's Papers" roundups, to his catchy tweets, if this is the new Regis Philbin (fingers crossed) we thought it was time to get to know the guy on a more personal level.

In our interview, Pat talks with us exclusively about his move to New York City (the biggest risk he ever took), why a slow economy is not such a bad thing for New Yorkers, and his favorite place to go for downtime (hint: you can find it in the subway station!) Let's get started!
