Has the success of "Orange is the New Black" opened you up to an even broader audience?Yeah! The show’s been great, it’s given all of the girls on the show a lot of exposure. And not that I’m not radical as Taryn, but she’s very radical in her religion and I just always want to give justice to people who are religious like she is. I don’t ever want to diminish their beliefs but I need to find that balance between her obsessive nature of it and not disrespecting it. But she is disrespectful on so many levels and it’s such a contradiction to anything religious.Even my mom was like, is everyone gonna hate you when you’re done with this?
