Syl: Brunch at Leuca in Brooklyn - the kids love the ricotta-lemon pancakes! Then we run off all that sugar by spending the afternoon in the park.
Lu: It starts with breakfast at Boulangerie Christophe in Georgetown. It’s a great neighborhood bakery and we love to sit out on the terrace on a sunny day. There are so many kid-friendly activities in D.C., so we have our pick! In the fall, we’ll visit one of the many museums or parks, or go apple picking at a local farm. On our way back, we always pick up pizzas from Il Canale - maybe one of the best pizza parlors in the city! And we always take our evening family walk around the neighborhood - baby dolls and wooden dogs in tow.
