Man About Town: Scott Lipps On His Favorite Parties, What He Looks For In Models, And Much More!

I don't know how you balance music and ONE and now photography. Walk us through a day in your life.
Well I don't really sleep, so it's like 24 hours. I sleep with the TV on when I can, I don't know I like it better. When I'm by myself sometimes I wake up at 5 in the morning and I'll start watching the food network or the history channel or whatever, something I recorded. Normally from 7-8 whatever I'm up on the site, putting up pictures from the night before or day before, walk my dog Beckham. And then I'm here, and I'm usually going to the set or on a shoot or meeting with photographers or models or doing a bunch of meeting during the day. Clients, all kinds of meetings, work related. Running all around, I usually have 3-8 meetings a day, and then at night I usually rest for just a very short time, and I have to go out. It never stops. I usually get some rest between the hours of 1 and 6. If I'm lucky I can sleep longer or get to bed earlier. With all your different projects going on, how do you prioritize? You know some people go to the beach during the summer months or take two weeks holiday in this business, but I went on tour. It was not easy juggling it all but at the end of the day we had a great tour. I basically just took my vacation time, 2 or 3 weeks this summer, and toured. The other dates were all over weekends so I made it work. It's not easy doing that because there's a lot of travel involved, but it was the summer and the summer isn't our busiest time. Hopefully we can play some festivals next summer if we can get our record out. Scott Lipps [Photo via @scottlipps]
