Speaking of the New York scene, where are some of your favorite places to be out and about?
I love old-school New York. I practically live at 21 for lunch, Bemelmans for cocktail hour, Grand Central Oyster Bar for oysters, and the Russian Tea Room for midtown meetings. My mother went into labor with me at the Tea Room. Family legend says that she ordered her caviar to go, to take in the taxi to the hospital.
