I used to go to the Sunshine until they played the "NY" card! I purchased Landmark pre-paid discount tickets ($8). Sunshine refused them (very small print: Not valid in NY)! I'm really tired of all these companies having deals for the whole country...but NOT NY! Like we're made of money and they can charge whatever they want. Ever hear of a bargain matinee? Wouldn't they rather have 50 people sitting in the theatre paying $8 each than having 2 people paying $13?

I was at the Ziegfeld last week for a screening of Cabaret. I was also there opening week in 1969 for Marooned. Still the most beautiful theatre in NY.
