An Ode To The OG New York Bitch, Cruel Intentions' Kathryn Merteuil

Since we mentioned Patrick Bateman, let's talk about how every finance guy's man-crush doesn't exactly measure up to our girl Kathryn. For those who haven't seen American Psycho, prepare yourself for some spoilers. There are two theories: either he committed all of those murders, or he was schizophrenic and it was a delusion. If he did commit those murders, he still isn't on Kathryn's level because Kathryn's mind games and sexual prowess require so much more charisma, wit, and intelligence than stabbing people ever could. And if he was schizophrenic, that's pretty problematic too because we're glamorizing mental illness, which is just a sexy form of cheapening it. 

At the end of the day, the only things Kathryn and Patrick have in common is the Manhattan addresses, brooding demeanor, and good looks. The similarities end there.
