She reigned over Manhattan before Blair and Serena did
If anything, Gossip Girl's Blair and Serena totally copied Kathryn. Kathryn had so much personality and so much going for her that they had to split her into two characters. Blair was the brunette vixen who had a proclivity for sexual warfare and clandestine mindgames, but Kathryn would deem Blair's antics child's play. Serena, on the other hand, poached the weird stepbrother, stepsister love story from Kathryn (it's only awkward if you make it awkward, we guess...?). Kathryn and Sebastian were sexy, but Dan and Serena got nauseating and we were just kind of over it by the finale.
