Whether or not you agree with the decision to give Bob Dylan a Nobel Prize in literature, there's no denying that his words, sung or read, have been influential for generations. While the criticism that no women have won the award this year is quite valid (wtf Nobel Committee?), Dylan will be the first to admit that behind every great man, is an even better woman. He once said, "I think women rule the world and that no man has ever done anything that a woman either hasn't allowed him to do or encouraged him to do." We agree, which is why we're celebrating the songwriter's many muses - the female faces behind some of his very best songs.
