Pier A

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Pier A is a 28,000 square foot multi-experiential food and beverage destination in Battery Park. The first floor is a free-flowing space designed for eating and drinking, and it's surrounded by a promenade for outdoor dining. The second floor is reserved for fine dining, inspired by the Hudson River Valley foodshed, and it also features a cocktail bar for guests. The third floor, committed to special events, hosts impressive views of the Lower Manhattan waterfront and the Financial District skyline. Originally, the building opened in 1886 as the headquarters for NY Harbor Police and Department of Docks and it later served as a VIP entrance for European Ambassadors traveling to Ellis Island.
