Durden
Durden is a unique bar on our list mainly because of its theme. The murals on the walls are all inspired by the bar’s namesake, Tyler Durden, from the movie Fight Club. NYU students have certainly experienced some rowdy nights here, however the atmosphere is usually laid-back and perfect for a night out with friends. Plus, there are great drink specials and plenty of TVs for sports fans.
