There is no outright geeky theme to the Barcelona Bar. On the outside it seems normal. On the inside it seems normal. God help you, however, if you happen to order one of their nerdy in-joke shots. Patrons are compelled to wear King Aragorn's crown from Lord of the Rings and set their drink on fire with wizard powers (or take father/son Jedi shots for Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader).
