9. We, as a culture, have collective A.D.D. and are so smartphone obsessed that we now rely on self-imposed threats of financial loss to stop us from distraction. A new game called "The Phone Stack" is all the rage as of late. Diners pile up their cell phones in a Janga-esq tower and attempt polite dinner conversation with other human beings while waiting for the weakest link to give in and take back his/her phone.
