Our Guide To The Best Speakeasies In New York City

1 of 8

PDT

Price per drink: $15

Where: 113 St Marks Place (Located inside Crif Dogs)

Short for Please Don't TeII, this speakeasy bar is located in the East Village on the crowd streets of St. Marks. To enter PDT you have to go through a popular hot dog joint, called Crif Dogs, where you will find a really cool phone booth that you will of course go into and through the phone booth is where PTD is nested. PDT offers a full menu of high quality cocktails with a wide selection of beer and wine. And of course you can order food from the Crift kitchen next door. How convenient is this idea, you can get drunk at the PDT then after go get the greasy drunk food as you exit.  Brilliant!

You forgot Smith & Mills, Macao Trading Co., and Employees only. Macao has the best cocktails/bartenders in town.
