Down the street from Irving Plaza and off to the side of its big sister restaurant, Casa Mono, lies Bar Jamón-- a closet sized wine bar neatly fitting around 20 people with two communal tables. But don’t let the small size fool you, this wine bar is outfitted with an extensive wine list from various regions of Spain. From an aged white Rioja, to some sought after Priorats along with a Sherry tasting flight, your "quick drink" may turn into a Spanish adventure, only to be completed by a tapas-style fare of cheese, hams, and other varieties of small plates.
