Stone Street

Stone Street
Stone Street is basically happy hour heaven. It may be all the way down in the Financial District, but with so many bars to choose from, it's totally worth the schlep. Stone Street (which was the first street to be paved in New York) is blocked off from cars from April 1st through the end of November, and picnic tables line the streets making this a drinker's paradise. Though almost all of the bars on Stone Street offer happy hour specials, two that stand out are Stone Street Tavern and Beckett's. Both bars have great drink specials ($5 beers, $6 wines, and delicious burgers!), and when the weather is warm, these are the first bars on the street to fill up.
