What: Like the Gansevoort Meatpacking, the Thompson Hotel was always the go-to spot in the Lower East Side. But this year the entire hotel chain was rebranded as the SIXTY Hotels, and with it came some exciting changes to the ever-popular rooftop. Now it goes by Tiki Tabu, a tiki-themed bar complete with pineapple cocktails served in tiki totem cups, tropical printed couches, and new artwork throughout. The bar is handled by the most exciting cocktail duo in NYC, Jon Neidich and Jim Kearns, while Travis Bass and Sebastian Puga ensure the crowd is eclectic and wild.
