The Highline Hotel was one of the first to capitalize on it this season with their outdoor restaurant Alta Linea, from the team behind the revered Italian eateries Del L'Anima, L'Apicio, and L'Artusi. The restaurant is only open during the summer, but it's nearly impossible to walk down the relatively serene 10th Avenue and not want to stop by for at least a drink. The space is as charming as the hotel, with tasty rustic Italian dishes, a small and stylish bar perfect for warm evenings, and one of the best outdoor seating areas the city has to offer.
