Overview: Bar Nana takes over the Double Seven space, and brings an elegant, upscale look which highlights the direction in the new wave of Meatpacking District clubs. The 6 owners of the space have such a wide range of experience in hospitality- Jeffrey Jah at 1 Oak, David Rabin at Jimmy at The Hames, Kyle Hotchkiss-Carone at Cole's, etc.-that Bar Nana manages to blend aspects of all them to bring a unique experience. Although it turns into a dance party, it strays away from the frat-y 'ragers' of some MPD clubs.
