Target First Saturdays at the Brooklyn Museum
Head to the Brooklyn Museum on the first Saturday of every month for a night of art, music, film and fun. The upcoming first Saturday event on August 3rd will feature a music showcase from 5pm-10pm, a curator talk with Rocio Aranda-Alvarado of El Museo de Barrio, pop up gallery talks, two film screenings and a salsa dancing workshop.
This free monthly special offers visitors a chance to check out various art forms and the work of some established and emerging artists in each field.
